Founded in 2019 in Lagos, Nigeria, KEY academy was Africa’s first fully project-based school, teaching children aged 18 months to 18 years. The solar-powered campus later inspired a nationwide teacher-training platform. As of 2025, it was a Top 10 finalist for the World’s Best School Prize for Innovation.
